It’s Super Bowl Sunday, in the midst of the 2022 Winter Olympics, so it may come as no surprise that many of the community activities I attended this week were sports-oriented in nature. I attended the Homecoming basketball games at Coastal Alabama Community College, one of my kids’ alma maters, as well as one of their first baseball games of the season. I cheered for our circuit’s teams in the Excel-MCHS and Hillcrest-Miller basketball area championship games. And I watched the J.U.Blacksher alumni softball and baseball games. I enjoyed seeing many of you at these events, as well as in other community venues this week: at church, at the courthouse, at Hunter’s Run during Sunday brunch, at M&M Seafood in Evergreen, at the Beatrice Garden Club’s fundraiser for veterans, and in the neighborhoods I visited.
In between these activities, I released my first campaign radio ad and a corresponding YouTube video and ringtone. I hope you’ve enjoyed them. If you haven’t heard the song or seen the video, you can find in on my Videos page. Please feel free to reach out at let me know what you think.
